What is thetrackshow.com?

Thetrackshow.com is an all-video website covering high school cross country and track & field in New Jersey.

We'll have weekly features, including video coverage of selected meets and interviews with coaches and athletes. The center piece will be a weekly Track Talk show. The Track Talk show will feature highlights from the previous weekend, we'll tell you what to look for in the coming weekend, provide rankings countdowns, clips of the week, nutrition and training tips and guest interviews with some of the state's best coaches and athletes. We will also use questions from you, the viewer. We'll have plenty of contests where we will pick and feature videos that you send in. Every week you are eligible to win thetrackshow.com t-shirts.

What is the goal?

Our goal is to have fun with our great sport and to teach our athletes how to become better athletes. Most of all we want to create some excitement. Our target audience will be cross country and track and field athletes, past and present - no matter what your expertise is - and coaches and fans of the sport. We'll definitely have something for everyone. We welcome everyone to contribute, whether it's sending us ideas or taking part in our weekly contests.

When does thetrackshow.com officially launch?

Although we have been posting videos of spring races, we will officially launch the website on August 1st. Weekly features, the talk show and the contests will start in September. Through the month of August we will have interviews with some of the top coaches in New Jersey, we'll talk to some of our NJ alumni and we'll visit some summer practice workouts. We will scour the state of NJ to find tips to help the cross country runners excel in the fall. We will also find ways to make this great sport greater.
